Amy Marvin Profile Picture

Amy Marvin is an independent scholar located just outside of Philadelphia. She received a PhD in Philosophy from University of Oregon in 2019, where she was a main co-organizer for the first conference on trans philosophy and taught several courses on Trans Studies, Trans Literature, and Trans Philosophy. Her writing appears in Contingent Magazine, Hypatia, Feminist Philosophy Quarterly, Transgender Studies Quarterly, and the APA Newsletter on LGBTQ Issues in Philosophy. She also writes comic poetry, bakes bread, and is getting into composting.
