  1. 1. Since 2012, Evans has been performing the “Operation Catsuit” series, in which she dons a neon yellow Zebra body stocking. The catsuit has become an iconic garment of her performances, which functions as “her art scene uniform. [. . .] It helps make her a more recognizable figure in the performance art scene in New York City, and more, donning it acts as a cue that she is going to work” (Rodney 2020).
