A large plate that folds out of St. John College Library’s copy of Theophila, given to the library by the author Edward Benlowes. The plate shows the figure Theophila leaning against a pedestal, stomping a serpent, and pointing toward the heavens. An open book is on her lap and she holds a palm branch.
