Link, a pixelated elfen character sporting a brown shield and green tunic, stands in the center of the Triforce starting screen. There are three possible roads cut into green rock faces that allow Link to walk north, east, or west to new parts of the map. A mysterious black door in the upper right screen leads into a cave where he can grab his trusty sword before setting off down one of three paths.
