Full description

Upon entering The Lost Hills, Link finds himself suspended in midair, looping endlessly around an 8-bit textured torus that floats above Hyrule. Clouds pass under the 3D shape, its surface mapped with boulders and craggy cliffs. No matter which way Link walks—up, down, left, or right—our hero finds himself back in the same position. The only way through is to go “up, up, up, up the mountain ahead,” threading the needle through the donut’s hole.
