Cover of Amazing Stories 2, no. 6 (September 1927)

Full description
In large yellow type the masthead wraps around a scene from another world. Prominent against a red sky is a large plant with a yellow flower. It stands tall above two men dressed in safari garb. One man has been caught by the plant's outreaching filaments. His partner, armed with a riffle is in shock and running toward the scene. Given his expression there seems little hope the other man can be saved. The issue advertises stories by H. G. Wells, Otis Adelbert Kline, and Miles J. Breuer.
