Full description

In red and white type, the masthead features above a water-color image of a man with headphones sitting at a table on which sit two radio boxes with dials. A cylinder unit connects them with wires, which run to both the two batteries at the man's feet and the two large X-shaped devices at his side, each of which sit upon red tripods. These devices have wires describing their boundary, running from each point of the X to another, forming a sort of box shape. The caption reads, “The Radio Compass.”
