Cover of Science and Invention 12, no. 9 (January 1925)

Full description
In blue type the masthead features above a full-bleed image depicting a winter setting. The landscape is blanketed in snow. In the background a single-family house, it's brick walkway cleared. In the foreground a man wearing only a suit against the elements is walking left to right, trailing a broadcast spreader behind him. In it's wake the snow has erupted into flame and melts away, revealing a clean sidewalk. The caption reads, “The Snow Burner.”
