Author Biography

Lisa Björkman is associate professor at the University of Louisville and the author of Pipe Politics, Contested Waters: Embedded Infrastructures of Millennial Mumbai, Waiting Town: Life in Transit and Mumbai’s Other World-Class Histories, and Bombay Brokers. Lisa is also research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle.
