Author Biography

Deepika Bahri teaches postcolonial literature and theory in the English department at Emory University, where she is also affiliated with Asian studies, comparative literature, and women’s studies. She coedited Between the Lines: South Asians and Postcoloniality, and she has published essays in journals and edited collections. Her research focuses on the relation of postcolonial literature and theory to social issues.
