Dominic Boyer is professor in the Department of Anthropology at Rice University. Most recently, he is the author of The Life Informatic: Newsmaking in the Digital Era and Energopolitics: Wind and Power in the Anthropocene, coauthor of Hyposubjects: On Becoming Human, and coeditor of Energy Humanities: An Anthology and Collaborative Anthropology Today: A Collection of Exceptions.
