Cover of Amazing Stories 1, no. 6 (September 1926)

Full description
In large white type the masthead wraps around red submarine that has plummeted to new depths. At the front of the sub is a viewport through which the pilot, wearing a blue suit and white tie looks on in exasperation at the large, iguana-like creature that is attacking his vessel with a spear. The issue advertises stories by H. G. Wells, Jules Verne, and Garrett P. Serviss.
