Full Description

In black type against a red background, the masthead features above a man sitting off-balance in front of a bank of radio equipment. He's in a state of distress, one hand holding a wire connected to his headphones, the other frenziedly sending a telegram. Behind him, with her hand on the nape of his neck, is an older woman in bedroom slippers, red robe, and sleeping cap. She's pointing at the wall clock with consternation. The caption reads, “A Loose Coupler.”
