Author Biography

Christophe Wall-Romana is professor of French in the Department of French and Italian at the University of Minnesota. His previous books include Cinepoetry: Imaginary Cinemas in French Poetry and Jean Epstein: Corporeal Cinema and Film Philosophy. He has translated or cotranslated books by Judy Blume, Philip K. Dick, William Merwin, Norbert Wiener, Jean Epstein, and, most recently, with Joe Hughes, Gilbert Simondon’s Imagination and Invention (Univocal/Minnesota, 2023).
