In this part, we see student authors as they offer suggestions to others as trailblazers in a reimagined space. These stories reflect the importance of allyship both among students and with others. We see here a reclamation of power as students are positioned, themselves, as the experts on their lived experiences.
These stories are critically important to our understandings of higher education. Why haven’t these perspectives been acknowledged before? Why aren’t these narratives recognized as part of the ordinary collective of college experience?
